Welcome and Thanks for checking out my photography website.

     A little about me, I started Photography when I was young, but didn't own an SLR until I was in my early 20's. I purchased my first SLR camera with money given to me by my Opa. It was a Canon EOS 3, I eventually bought lenses and other accessories and several years ago decided to go digital with a Canon EOS 20D.

    I love travel photography and portrait photography.  I don't generally enjoy high pressure situations but tend to be more laid back while shooting and prefer if the people I am shooting feel comfortable and relaxed. I tend toward the jounalistic style of photography but eventually would like to do more in studio shooting with all the lights. 

I have won several prizes for some of my images in different photo contests, which is always an honour as competition is generally quite stiff.

    I have also discovered the interesting side of doing movie and commercial stills for a couple of productions out of Calgary, Alberta.

    As I do photography in my spare time I find it a constant battle to find a balance a small online business and making sure I feed my creative soul, by gathering the energy and motivation to go out and take photos.

    I have some friends who have been an inspiration and make it that little bit easier to make the effort. So many thanks to them, and to my very supportive family and partner, for continuously pushing me to take more photos.
